Uganda finally cleared to host FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers
KAMPALA, May 13 (Xinhua) -- The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has finally cleared Uganda's Mandela National Stadium (Namboole) to host the forthcoming FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers.
Edgar Watson Suubi, CEO of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) told Xinhua on Monday that CAF has given the go-ahead after the refurbished stadium was inspected and cleared to host international matches.<
