Ponting doesn't see abolition of 'Impact Player' bringing IPL totals down

Delhi Capitals' coach Ricky Ponting foresees high-scoring IPL matches even if the Impact Player rule is done away with in future edition of the league. Ravi Shastri, however, supports the rule, while Rohit Sharma criticizes it for disadvantaging all-rounders. Sourav Ganguly views it as a positive innovation in the game.
