The Mariners broadcast had a great reaction after the same fan astonishingly caught foul balls on back-to-back pitches

I mean, what are the odds?!

There’s something uniquely exciting about catching a baseball in the stands at a big-league game. Is a baseball all that valuable? Not really. Can you buy MLB baseballs at stores? Absolutely. But when a batted ball ends up in the stands, it’s a thrill for anyone close by.

Well, one Mariners fan had the kind of evening at T-Mobile Park that seemed to defy all the odds. He caught two foul balls — which would be cool enough — and did so on back-to-back pitches (!!!).

It happened in the first inning of Monday’s game against the Royals as Josh Rojas sent a fly ball tailing into the stands down the left-field line. A fan made a nice catch on the play, and just seconds later, he’d get another chance.

This was how it sounded on the Mariners broadcast.

“He got ’em both! He got ’em both!”

You won’t hear a call for a foul ball get any better than that.

MLB fans were also in awe of the moment. That luck was simply unreal. You’re talking about billions (maybe more) to one odds here.
