Dodgers' Emmet Sheehan (elbow surgery) out for season

Los Angeles Dodgers right-handed pitcher Emmet Sheehan will miss the rest of the season after undergoing elbow surgery on Wednesday to repair a torn right UCL.

Sheehan had not pitched for the Dodgers this season after he was placed on the 60-day injured list in late March with right forearm inflammation.
