Xander Schauffele and the rest of the pack are set to tee off for their second rounds of the PGA Championship on Friday at Valhalla Golf Course.
Schauffele set a PGA Championship record by shooting a 62 on Thursday. His 9-under gives him a three-stroke lead after one day of play. Schauffele is an established player on tour but has yet to win his first major championship. He has finished second at the Master and Open championship and third in the U.S. Open.
Sahith Theegala, Tony Finau, and Mark Hubbard are 6-under, and seven other golfers are tied for fifth at 5-under, including Rory McIlroy and Colin Morikawa.
Master champion Scottie Scheffler is 4-under, and Tiger Woods was +1 on Thursday, tied for 85th.
