No turning back for Tuchel at Bayern Munich
May 17 – Bayern Munich’s apparent u-turn to try and keep manager Thomas Tuchel at the club has been rebuffed after the two parties failed to reach an agreement.
Tuchel and Bayern announced in February he would be leaving at the end of the season but finding a successor has proved harder than anticipated.
Several German media outlets reported that the club’s sporting directors Max Eberl and Christoph Freund were in talks with Tuchel to reverse their joint decision to get rid of him.
