Budapest to host 2024/25 UCL final. UEFA waits for San Siro refurb news before awarding 2025/26
May 23 – Next season’s Champions League final will be staged at Budapest’s 67,215-capacity Puskas Arena, UEFA have decided.
The stadium has already hosted a number of major football events since its opening, including four games at Euro 2020 and – most recently – the 2023 Europa League final between Sevilla and Roma.
From next season, the number of teams in the competition will increase from 32 to 36 as part of a new Champions League format agreed by UEFA in 2022.
