Cruzeiro signs Argentine forward Diaz

RIO DE JANEIRO, June 11 (Xinhua) -- Cruzeiro has completed the signing of Argentine forward Lautaro Diaz on a contract that runs until 2028, the Brazilian Serie A club said on Tuesday.

Ecuador's Independiente del Valle, with whom Diaz had been contracted until 2026, agreed to a transfer fee reportedly worth 2.3 million euros (around 2.5 million U.S. dollars).
