Jayson Tatum unoriginally quoted Kanye West after doing his best post-title Kevin Garnett impression
Jayson Tatum is probably having a little too much fun after winning his first championship with the Celtics. After Boston unraveled the Mavs, Tatum was on the mic at an event quoting Kanye West. YES. KANYE WEST.
Look, Jayson Tatum. We get it. You’re feeling stupendous right now after working so hard to win a title with Boston. You heard the noise. You heard what people said about you and Jaylen Brown. So, after winning, you went full Kevin Garnett and asked, “What they gon’ say now?”
Truthfully, that was a dope line, right? You’re a champ. So, there’s not a whole lot people can really say about what you’ve done for the Celtics. But Jayson, seemingly quoting Kanye West in a club? How long have you been holding on to that one? WHERE IS THE ORIGINAL CONTENT?!

As we suspected, fans rightfully clowned Jayson for his Kanye moment. Here are some of the hysterical things they said:

How original…. Tatum recreated a lot of moments last night.. Now to some that’s cool but where is the real raw emotion from this man? Everything has a script nowadays.. They will say he’s paying homage tho… #nba #kanye pic.twitter.com/WATP6TQ7Tf

Tried to have a KG moment after the game. Here’s a Kanye moment. Models his game after Kobe. I really just want Tatum to be his own person one day.
I like him as a player and think he’s a humble dude but come on… https://t.co/viojCmNiNU
