Irish player too hurt to talk to lawyers defending him in rape trial in France

BORDEAUX, France - A rape trial involving two Irish rugby players in the French city of Bordeaux has been postponed until December.

Lawyers for 30-year-old Denis Coulson, who previously played for French team FC Grenoble, requested an adjournment, citing his hospitalization following a recent car crash.

His lawyers informed the court that he was gravely hurt and unable to communicate with his legal team.
