Cardinals 3B Nolan Arenado (forearm) exits vs. Giants

Cardinals third baseman Nolan Arenado departed St. Louis' 9-4 victory Saturday over the visiting San Francisco Giants in the top of the eighth inning due to left forearm discomfort.

Arenado went 0-for-3 with a walk before exiting. Jose Fermin finished the game at third base.

The contest was Arenado's first since getting hit in his right elbow by a pitch during the Cardinals' g
