The Challenge 40 Battle of the Eras: Meet the cast of champs and contenders competing on MTV

If you were worried about how the last season of MTV’s The Challenge didn’t include champions beyond eliminations, do I have good news for you.

The reality competition series is bringing together 40 competitors (!) for The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras and there are all sorts of names you’ll know from recent stars to some of the all-time greats.

Per a release, these competitors have to start out by competing at the “Era Invitational and eliminate the weakest links from within their own Challenge Era.” This sounds amazing.

Check out the cast below, which is split into groups of Challenge seasons. The season will kick off August 14 8 p.m. ET:

Seasons 1-10: Tina, Katie, Aneesa, Brad, Derrick, Mark, Rachel, CT, Darrell and Jodi

Seasons 11-20: Derek, Nehemiah, Johnny Bananas, KellyAnne, Ryan, Aviv, Brandon, Emily, Cara Maria and Laurel

Seasons 21-30: Tori, Amanda, Leroy, Jonna, Nia, Tony, Averey, Devin, Cory and Jordan

Seasons 31-39: Paulie, Theo, Kaycee, Michele, Horacio, Olivia, Josh, Nurys, Jenny and Kyland
