Frenchman Risacher goes to Hawks with top pick, Bronny James picked by Lakers in NBA Draft

WASHINGTON, June 27 (Xinhua) -- The two-round NBA Draft concluded on Thursday as Zaccharie Risacher of France was selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the first overall pick.

The 19-year-old forward was the second Frenchman in a row to be chosen No.1 after Victor Wembanyama was taken by the San Antonio Spurs with the top pick last year.

The Washington Wizards drafted France's Alex Sarr with the second pick.
