Report: Celtics G Derrick White lands $126M extension

The NBA champion Boston Celtics are signing guard Derrick White to a four-year extension worth $125.9 million, ESPN reported Monday.

The deal includes a player option, per the report.

White, who celebrates his 30th birthday on Tuesday, made the All-Defensive second team for the second straight season in 2023-24 and averaged 15.2 points, 5.2 assists, 4.2 rebounds, 1.2 blocks
