That means one of the tournament favourites will be heading home after the showdown in Stuttgart.

Both sides have caught the eye so far, although some felt Germany were fortunate to secure a controversial win over Denmark in the last 16.

Meanwhile La Roja continue to blow away all before them, despite having to come from behind to thrash Georgia 4-1.

While lots have backed Spain to go all the way, Julian Nagelsman has had a six-day period to draw up a masterplan to stop them.

And both he and the DFB are going above and beyond to ensure that it remains completely secret.

Quite often on the continent and at tournaments, officials from rival associations will be sent to the opponents’ training sessions to try and find or see something, no matter how little or small, to try and get the edge.

But German chiefs have gone to unusual lengths to make sure no-one from the Spanish camp can get anything.

Additionally, there are also a lot of Spanish reporters currently near the German base in Herzogenaurach.

But as Bild reports, anyone who walks along the public roads around the camp “will hardly believe their ears”.

That is because a security team has been deployed to play loud music on their phones next to any passers-by.

The song ploy has been devised to drown out any potential chance of Nagelsmann, whose own father was a spy, or his coaching staff dishing out any instructions.

But that is not all that is being done to try and ensure home advantage.

The two pitches at the camp are covered with high tarpaulins with security guarding the entire site.

And there is also a police horse squad that has been permanently deployed on the public roads to protect the German team.

Nagelsmann has ensured trouble with opposition spies previously in 2022 while in charge of Bayern Munich.

Scouts from other teams were allegedly spotted around the club’s Sabener Strasse base in Munich.

That led to Nagelsmann getting electric blinds installed after getting a second secret place built to keep out any prying eyes.
