Mets seek turnaround against Pirates

The New York Mets are starting to put themselves in a precarious position as they prepare to open a four-game series with the host Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday night.

All was well in New York when the Mets went 16-4 from June 3-28, but the Mets have lost four of six games, including a 1-0 setbackagainst the Washington Nationals on Thursday.
