49ers announce dates for 10 training camp practices before preseason
SANTA CLARA — Ten practices at 49ers’ training camp will be open to the public, starting with their July 25 session, the team announced Thursday.
Players are due to report two days earlier, July 23; rookies report July 16.
Others open practices at the team’s Santa Clara headquarters are July 26, 29, 30; and, Aug. 2, 3, 4, 6, 7.
Those practices lead into their preseason opener Aug. 10 at the Tennessee Titans in Nashville.
The 49ers are expected to practice the following week at UC Irvine, where the New Orleans Saints are holding training camp; no word yet on if those practices will be open to the public. The 49ers then host the Saints in an Aug. 18 game before the preseason concludes with an Aug. 23 visit to the Las Vegas Raiders.
Season-ticket members get first crack at buying tickets ($10 apiece) on Monday at 9 a.m. Sales to the general public open Thursday, July 18 at noon, with those tickets priced at $20 each.
Proceeds go toward the 49ers Foundation benefitting Bay Area youth. Ticket sales from the final open practice and the annual 87 Day event – in honor of late 49ers’ legend Dwight Clark and those impacted by ALS – will go toward the Golden Heart Fund that supports 49ers alumni and their families.
Free parking is available in Levi’s Stadium’s Red Lot 1. There are no concessions but water water stations will be available for ticketed guests who attend practices.
The 49ers Foundation is setting up a Dig & Gold Auction & Sale for training camp guests and online visitors to obtain team gear, memorabilia and more.
