Kate’s photo of Louis & Charlotte watching Euros proves NO Wales child is ever on subs bench, body language expert says

THE photo of Charlotte and Louis watching the England game proves the pair are never on the subs bench, a body language expert says.

Prince William and Kate shared a new picture of Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six, both watching the Three Lions face off against Spain in the Euro 2024 final last night.

The image, taken by Kate, shows the royal siblings wearing England shirts with their names on the back – and their ages as their player numbers.

Kate, Charlotte and Louis were watching England’s disappointing 2-1 loss to Spain together on the TV while William was in attendance with son George, 10, at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.

But while the first- and second-in-line to the throne were at the event in person, body languarge expert Judi James told The Sun that Kate’s snap reveals much about the Wales family.

She said: “One of the best things about the body language and construction of this adorable pose is that it doesn’t just show two young royals watching the Europa final.

“It shows two small fans sitting as hunched with tension and absorbed in every moment as the rest of the UK.

“It’s identifiable body language that shows how the ‘beautiful game’ of football is a great leveller when it comes to shared emotions and experiences, whether you’re watching in a palace or on a big screen in the park.

“The way Charlotte and Louis are leaning together with their eyes on the screen in a mirrored pose gives us a glimpse of the sibling unity, too.

“Looking fascinated and full of expectation they show the answer to the question ‘Where’s Louis?’ that fans have been asking all weekend.

“While Charlotte was able to fan-girl Alcaraz at Wimbledon and George got to watch Bellingham live in Germany, Louis appeared to be kept on the subs bench at home while missing out on all the fun.

“But he’s clearly adoring sitting watching with his big sister here, as mutual fans of the game, wearing his personalised number 6 shirt before, sadly, also having a very early life lesson that England football tends to teach all of us, which is how to cope with disappointment.”

In a personal message amid Spain’s victory, the Prince and Princess of Wales wrote: “England, your teamwork, grit and determination were an inspiration to all of us, young and old. Congratulations to Spain.”

William and George both erupted with joy when Cole Palmer equalised in the 73rd minute, and the younger prince was also snapped appearing to strategise with his father.

He furrowed his brow and pointed at the pitch amid the intense Euro 2024 final.

The pair both had their heads in their hands as England’s dream of ending 58 years of heartache came crashing down with a 2-1 defeat.

Kate also presented trophies to Wimbledon players on Sunday in a busy sporting week for the nation.

She handed champion Carlos Alcaraz, 21, his golden cup as he retained his Wimbledon title against rival Novak Djokovic.

It marked her second public appearance of the year as she continues to receive cancer treatment.

Kate said she was “glad to be back” at Wimbledon as the royal was greeted with a standing ovation and roaring crowds.

She stunned in a custom purple Safiyaa Cecilia dress and wore her hair in loose curls, while pairing the elegant outfit with gold jewelry

William & George’s touching show at Euros final

PRINCE William and George’s emotional display at the Euro 2024 final is made more special due to one key reason, a royal expert says.

William, who is President of the FA, and his eldest had erupted with joy, leaping out of their seats and embracing as Cole Palmer equalised to bring the score to England 1 – 1 Spain.

But the Royal pair also shared a moment of heartbreak and both held their heads as Gareth Southgate’s side were ultimately defeated 2-1 by the other team.

In their shared bonding moments, George was also seen appearing to strategize with his father, furrowing his brow and pointing at the pitch amid the intense Euro 2024 final.

Wills was also seen with an equally invested expression and open hands as he watched on the edge of his seat.

But, tragically for England, a goal by Oyarzabal put Spain 2-1 up, and the Three Lions’ rivals held on to their lead until the final whistle.

Richard Fitzwilliams, who was in Berlin while the game was on, told The Sun: “If you look at the stills of Princes William and George, what you can see is highs and lows.

“There’s one point they’re burying their heads in their hands or seem to be.

“There’s another point that that they’re rejoicing, which obviously was Palmer’s goal.

“And I mean, clearly this is significant because it also enables a lot of people to identify with how they’re feeling.”

In just one week’s time, George will be turning 11 – with only one year after that until a very crucial milestone is reached.

When the prince turns 12, he will be unable to fly together with William as part of a rule intended to protect the monarchy.

The rule had also been in place when William turned 12, meaning he was no longer able to travel with his father, who was Prince of Wales at the time, or his younger brother Prince Harry.

Now with William as heir to the throne, and George next in line, the pair will not be able to fly together.

Mr Fitzwilliams told The Sun: “Well, firstly, I think it’s only sensible to have the rule regarding Royals, you know, in particular numbers in planes.

“You know the fact that that’s been the rule, I think there’s a good reason for it.”
