Leny Yoro takes just 10 minutes to win over Man Utd fans who claim ‘we’re winning the league’ after amazing tackle
MANCHESTER UNITED fans are convinced the club will win the Premier League after Leny Yoro’s first appearance.
The defender was only announced as a new player for the club on Thursday but impressed in the win over Rangers.
Yoro, 18, took just 10 minutes to show his class during the 2-0 win at Murrayfield Stadium.
The defender displayed his speed and strength as he put in a last-ditch tackle to stop a Cyriel Dessers from almost certainly giving Rangers the lead.
Red Devils’ supporters were very impressed as they reacted to the moment on social media.
One posted: “Leny Yoro is a beast! Can’t wait to see him dominate the field.”
A second wrote: ” I’m crying this is so beautiful.”
A third commented: “Yoro is my starboy.”
A fourth said: “Yoro is the next Rio Ferdinand.”
A fifth declared: “We’re winning the Premier League this season.”

Another added: “Leny Yoro’s combo of pace and strength makes him a formidable defender.”
Erik ten Hag was pleased by the instant impact of Yoro, considering his young age.
The Manchester United manager told MUTV: “We are so pleased we signed him.
“He’s a huge talent, and we’re really looking forward to working with him, to build him.
“You could see he’s a player straight on the pitch yesterday in the training drills, so comfortable.
“We’re really excited about him.”
The club beat Real Madrid to the defender’s signature by agreeing a £50million deal with Lille.
Yoro said after making his debut: “For me it was incredible. It was a really good game from the team. I’m happy with my performance and I hope we continue like that.
“My teammates helped me a lot and the staff made me very comfortable – on the pitch we are together so for me I’m happy.
“The fans are everywhere, they are really good with us. Of course lots were here for me and I thank them for their support.”
First win of pre-season
Manchester United beat the Scottish outfit thanks to goals from Amad Diallo and Joe Hugill.
Diallo, who spent a season on loan at Rangers, shared a heartfelt message on social media after the game.
He wrote: “A real pleasure to have played against Rangers. I had a good time there; I wish them the best for the coming season.
“Thanks to the UTD fan for the support.”
