THE Paris 2024 Olympics has kicked off with football and rugby sevens underway.

Argentina claimed a dramatic 106th-minute equaliser in their Olympic football opener, drawing 2-2 with Morocco in St Etienne.

The official opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympics takes place on Friday along the River Seine.

Across the 19 day sporting spectacle, athletes will be competing for 329 gold medals across 32 sports.
