Chris Curtis is healthy again and booked to fight Kevin Holland at UFC 307 on Oct. 5.

Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed the news to MMA Fighting on Monday after Curtis’ management team revealed the fight on social media.

The fight serves as Curtis’ first appearance since suffering a torn hamstring in his split decision loss to Brendan Allen in April. That loss dropped Curtis to 2-2 with one no contest over his past five bouts.

In his return, the Ohio native attempts to get back on track after bouncing between wins and losses over his past six fights.

Meanwhile, Holland sticks around at middleweight after returning to the division for a win over Michał Oleksiejczuk in June at UFC 302. That win halted a two-fight losing skid after Holland fell to Michael Page and Jack Della Maddalena in consecutive bouts.

UFC 307 is expected to take place in Salt Lake City.

As of now, UFC 307 hasn’t booked a main event but several fights have been confirmed for the card, including ex-bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling facing Movsar Evloev in a featherweight bout.
