Red Sox trade for Pirates RHP Quinn Priester

The Boston Red Sox added another pitcher to their major league staff, acquiring Pittsburgh Pirates right-hander Quinn Priester in exchange for minor league infielder Nick Yorke on Monday.

Priester, 23, is 2-6 with a 5.04 ERA over 44 2/3 innings in 10 games (six starts) this season, with 31 strikeouts and 13 walks.
