The Seine River still looks absolutely disgusting, but triathlon athletes finally swam in it.

Despite a previously reported $1.5 billion investment in the Seine River to make it clean enough for athletes to swim in (yeah, it was THAT dirty), Paris Olympians had their practice swims pushed back twice during the past week and their triathlon competitions delayed due rain that created poor water conditions.

But, on Wednesday, the Seine was deemed safe enough to swim in, and several brave souls dove in. (Olympic athletes are simply built different because there is not enough convincing you could do for me to swim in that water.)
