5 arrested for snatching cash on street in Myanmar

YANGON, Aug. 1 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar police have arrested five suspects who snatched cash on a street in Thonse town of Bago region, the state-run daily Myanma Alinn reported on Thursday.

The theft occurred at around 11 a.m. local time on Wednesday when a local man placed his 20 million kyats of cash (about 9,523 U.S. dollars), which he had withdrawn from a bank, on his motorcycle and went to have a salad at a sho
