Morocco whips U.S. in men's soccer quarters, 4-0

PARIS -- Morocco reached the Olympic men's soccer semifinals for the first time with a resounding 4-0 win over the United States at the Parc des Princes on Friday.

It was also a memorable day for hosts France, who reached the semifinals for the first time in 40 years with a 1-0 win over Argentinathanks to Jean-Philippe Mateta's first-half goal in a grudge match in Bordeaux.
