Fans spot Noah Lyles ‘pulled out all the receipts’ after post to rival resurfaces from TWO MONTHS before Olympics 2024

NOAH LYLES has won the adoration of fans after backing up a bold post about his rival by winning 100m Olympic gold.

The Team USA star beat Jamaican Kishane Thompson by 0.005 seconds to become Olympic champion.

But he delivered on his promise of revenge and stared down his rival just as Seville did to him two months ago[/caption]

He came from last place to overtake his rivals to win, having finished second in his two heats prior to the final.

Lyles, 27, was beaten by another Jamaican star, Oblique Seville, in the semi-final.

Seville also beat Lyles at the Racers Grand Prix at the beginning of June and he glanced over at the American as he crossed the line.

Following the race Lyles took to social media where he called out Seville, saying: “Oh yah…I’ll remember this! See you in Paris.”

Lyles delivered on his promise as he glared at Seville as the pair crossed the line in their semi-final, despite him coming out second best.

But he made amends in emphatic fashion later that evening as he showed why he is world and now Olympic 100m champion, with Seville finishing in last place.

Lyles has attracted plenty of praise for his performance as well as a few new fans, some of whom lauded the sprinter on social media.
