Cole Hocker breaks Olympic record to win gold in men's 1500m event
Paris [France], August 7 (ANI): United States Cole Hocker broke the Olympic record in the men's 1500m event to take away the gold medal in front of a jam-packed crowd at Stade de France.
Hocker defeated the on-paper favourites for the event, Josh Kerr of Great Britain and Jakob Ingebrigtsen of Norway. The 23-year-old finished at the top to get an opportunity to pose with the gold medal around his neck.
