Michael Chandler has had it with Conor McGregor.

In the latest social media back-and-forth between the UFC stars, Chandler responded to a cryptic video from McGregor, warning him that he “Can’t wait to bounce your ‘champ champ’ head off the canvas’ and telling McGregor to “get your sh*t together so I can.”

In McGregor’s since-deleted video, the former two-division UFC champion appeared to be taunting Chandler on board a boat. McGregor grinned mischievously into the camera and then switched hats, putting on one that said “Champ Champ,” with the Sam Cooke song A Change is Gonna Come playing in the background.

Not long after the video was initially posted, Chandler shared his response.

Chandler and McGregor have been embroiled in a bitter feud for the better part of the past two years, with Chandler frequently using interviews to call for a fight with McGregor. The two were later matched up as opposing coaches on The Ultimate Fighter 31, which aired in 2023. A bout was expected to be booked following the conclusion of that series, but it wasn’t until 2024 that they were set to meet at UFC 303.

Unfortunately, a toe injury prompted McGregor to withdraw from the June 29 pay-per-view and the bout has been in limbo since. Both fighters have discussed the possibility of a re-booking with varying degrees of assurance, but as of now nothing has been made official.

McGregor has not competed since a loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021. The 36-year-old suffered a broken leg in that fight that sidelined him for over a year and he has also spent time pursuing other opportunities, including a starring role in the recent Road House remake.
