Soler, 27, could become the latest signing through the doors at the London Stadium.

Foot Mercato has claimed that the East London club have held talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a deal.

It is suggested that West Ham have made an offer to take the midfielder on loan for the season.

It is then added that the club would buy the 14-capped Spaniard at the end of the campaign.

Soler’s contract at the Parc des Princes expires in 2027 but he has fallen down the pecking order.

West Ham will also face competition from Real Sociedad for his signature.

One obstacle the Hammers face in getting a deal over the line is said to be the midfielder’s “impressive” salary.

New West Ham manager Julen Lopetegui is suggested to be a fan of the midfielder and could prefer him to the likes of Tomas Soucek and James Ward-Prowse.

Soler was bought by PSG from LaLiga outfit Valencia in 2022 for a fee in the region of £18million.

While he was in Spain, he was one of the most exciting young midfielders in the league.

While the club has also picked up Wes Foderingham and Guido Rodriguez on free transfers.
