Watch ‘petty’ Bernard Tomic get kicked out of tennis tournament after turning up to cheer AGAINST fierce rival

TENNIS bad-boy Bernard Tomic descended to “next level petty” as he was thrown out of watching a final.

Officials took decisive action when the former World No17 went UNDERCOVER to heckle his quarter-final conqueror Andres Andrade. 

The Aussie, now ranked 250th, had bitter exchanges with Ecuadorian ace Andrade in that clash.

And Tomic‘s backing for pal Damir Dzumhur three days later during the ATP Challenger final in the Dominican Republic spilled over into unsavoury scenes as he apparently tried to rile his rival.

Fans on social media blasted his behaviour as “just such hater energy” and “crazy” while commentator Jose Morgado tweeted: “I have no words.”

Tomic had declined to shake Andrade’s hand after a sour 6-2 6-2 defeat on Thursday.

But the 2011 Wimbledon quarter-finalist, 31, hung around for the rest of the tournament as his mate Dzumhur went all the way.

And when the Bosnian took on Andrade, it proved too big an opportunity for Tomic to turn down – but not in a good way.

He even got involved when the South American argued with the umpire and a match supervisor. 

Tomic was removed from the stands at the end of the first set after tournament officials discussed what to do about him.

At one stage, Andrade was heard telling the umpire: “I want this guy to be taken out.”

It’s also claimed Tomic followed him at each change of ends to be on the same side of the net.

Wearing sunglasses and a hat in the front row, he then tried in vain to persuade officials not to kick him out for good early in the second set. 

Tomic was surrounded by security staff as he was led out – to cheers from some fans.

That meant he missed Dzumhur completing an impressive 6-4 6-4 victory.

And it gave further ammunition to the Australian’s online critics.

“Such a Tomic thing to do,” said one, while another suggested: “Surely it’s beyond mandatory counselling at this stage in his career.”

A third fan posted: “So sad he can’t channel his energies to improving his game and then win it fairly. Bad sport!!!!!”

But other viewers admitted to feeling amused as much as bemused by Tomic’s “hilarious” antics.

One wrote: “I know this is very wrong of him but I can’t stop laughing at this, just imagining this in my head.”

Another said: “It’s just such hater energy it crosses over from ‘c’mon’ to ‘lmao seriously?'”
