NON-LEAGUE footballer Jamie Owens is swapping his boots for the board to play in the Modus Super Series.
The Stockton Town forward is taking part in this month’s event while recovering from an injury.

The 35-year-old has also stepped foot onto the iconic Wembley Stadium pitch.
He featured in the 2018 FA Vase final with Stockton at the home of English football.
Stockton suffered a 1-0 defeat to Thatcham Town, with Owens playing the full 90 minutes.
The forward is currently recovering from an injury and is unable to play football.
So he is participating at the Modus Super Series – an event open to non-PDC Tour Card holders – in Portsmouth.
He won his fifth Group A game 4-3 against Dutchman Jarno Bottenberg on Wednesday.
Premier League Darts stars are set to take part in this week’s round of Players’ Championship games.

However, teen superstar Luke Littler will skip the event.
He said: “I’d love to win over here and get another title. Tick one off for August if not there’s plenty of chances.
“I saw that stat going into the ProTour last month and I checked it was the last day so win this one and then I can go home.
“I did win it and I am aware that I’ve picked up a title every month.
“I’d like to pick up another major this year, no matter what it is.”
