Caio Borralho announced himself as a title threat at 185 pounds.
Competing in his first UFC main event, the Fighting Nerds talent put together one of the finest performances of his career, overcoming a nasty cut to nearly finish Jared Cannonier both on the feet and on the ground Saturday in the main event of UFC Vegas 96. In the end, Borralho captured a unanimous decision (49-45, 49-45, 48-46) over the one-time title challenger to vault his name into contention in the UFC middleweight rankings.
