And Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg claims the Saudi Arabian outfit have made an official approach.

Arsenal are considering making a move for Coman before the transfer window shuts today.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is eager to add more firepower in order to compete with Manchester City.

Arsenal are believed to prefer a loan instead of an immediate permanent move.

And that could hand Al-Hilal the advantage if they are willing to pay a lump sum.

The Saudis have Neymar, Aleksandar Mitrovic, Kalidou Koulibaly, Ruben Neves and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in their ranks.

Coman currently earns in the region of £300,000-per-week at Bayern.

He has just under three years to run on his current deal after signing a long-term contract in November 2022.
