UFC free fight: Sean O'Malley avenges only career loss, picks apart Chito Vera in rematch

Sean O'Malley made sure to leave no doubt when it came to avenging his only professional MMA loss.

Back in March at UFC 299, O’Malley fought Marlon Vera in a rematch that stemmed from a 2020 meet that left O’Malley with a first-round TKO loss on his record. In a flawless performance, O’Malley badly beat Vera over the course of 25 minutes to avenge his defeat and retain his UFC bantamweight title.

O’Malley (18-1 MMA, 10-1 UFC) returns to the cage on Sept. 14 for his second UFC bantamweight title defense. He takes on Merab Dvalishvili (17-4 MMA, 10-2 UFC) in the main event of UFC 306, which is set to go down at Sphere in Las Vegas.
