He looked a hot prospect when seeing off 16 rivals to strike over course and distance last time. He was right up with the pace all the way and kept finding more when challenged. This looks a softer race and a 5lb rise in the weights is fair.
SERGEANT (3.40 Fontwell, nb)
He needed his comeback run at Worcester before lagging in at Newton Abbot last time. He picked up sharply after jumping the last and has a lot more to come going up in distance.
FROST AT DAWN (4.00 York, treble)
He takes a big drop in grade after running in the Nunthorpe here last time. He was a Group 3 winner in Dubai three runs ago.
