Lions sign RB David Montgomery to extension through 2027

The Detroit Lions announced Saturday night that they have agreed to a two-year extension with running back David Montgomery through the 2027 season.

According to ESPN, the deal is worth $18.25 million.

Montgomery has rushed for 271 yards and four touchdowns in four games (all starts) this season, his second with Detroit. He also has nine receptions for 94 ya
