NFL Week 12 public betting: Brock Purdy injury has bettors hammering Packers over 49ers

Brock Purdy was a late-week scratch for Sunday’s game between the San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers due to a bad shoulder, moving the spread for that game a full four points from Packers -1.5 to -5.5. Brandon Allen is set to start in his place.

While some of us are stuck with our 49ers picks from earlier in the week (sigh), the vast majority of bettors are now siding with the Packers for obvious reasons. Given the way each team has performed leading into Week 12, many of those bettors may have been taking the Packers regardless.
