The lake effect has struck again.

The weather phenomenon that sucks moisture from bodies of water warmer than the air above it to create torrential snowfall has once more touched down upon western New York. That means Orchard Park, home of the Buffalo Bills located not far from Lake Erie, has been left to dig out from blankets of ivory white snow.

This isn’t anything unusual for Bills fans, some of whom showed up earlier in the week to help dig out the stands at Highmark Stadium for $20 per hour. Folks in Buffalo were ready for a blizzard. Here’s what the field, stands and scene outside looked like as grounds crews readied the facility and fans tailgated in the surrounding areas.
