NFL Week 14 betting lines: Kirk Cousins' return to Minnesota could get ugly

Kirk Cousins picked a bad time to have his worst game of the season.

Fresh off that four-interception disaster against the Los Angeles Chargers, he now has to try to pick himself up in Minnesota, playing against the same Vikings team he quarterbacked for the last six seasons. A Vikings team that’s suddenly better now than it was when he was there.

Minnesota’s rise no doubt has more to do with an improved defense than it does Sam Darnold being any kind of upgrade over Cousins. But that’s exactly the problem Cousins and the Atlanta Falcons are up against Sunday. Aside from the emotions of the game, Cousins leads the league in interceptions thrown. The Vikings lead the league in passes intercepted. This might not be the homecoming he’s expecting.
