UFC 310 faceoff video: Shavkat Rakhmonov gets intense with Ian Machado Garry

LAS VEGAS – Training partners-turned-opponents: that’s what Ian Machado Garry and Shavkat Rakhmonov are.

Ahead of their UFC 310 clash Saturday at T-Mobile Arena, Garry (18-0 MMA, 8-0 UFC) and Rakhmonov (15-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) squared off Thursday at MGM Grand Garden Arena for the first time since their booking was made official. The faceoff came following the conclusion of a pre-fight news conference.

The welterweight bout between the former Kill Cliff sparring partners serves as the five-round pay-per-view co-main event (ESPN+ pay-per-view, ESPN2, Hulu, ESPN+).

Garry stepped into the fight on short notice, replacing injured champion Belal Muhammad. Both men look to maintain their undefeated records and solidify themself as the next title challenger.
