Katsunari Takayama and Kha Lu Make Weight for IBO World Minimumweight Title Fight



General Santos City, Philippines – Japanese legend and four-time world champion Katsunari Takayama (34-9) and unbeaten Kha Lu both successfully made weight for their upcoming fight for the vacant IBO World Minimumweight title at a Sanman Boxing event on December 18 at the Bula Gymnasium. Takayama weighed in at 104.2 lbs, while Lu came in at 102.5 lbs.

Former two-time interim world champion Reymart Gaballo also made weight at 119 lbs for his 10-round match against James Pagaling, who weighed in at 117 lbs. Additionally, former world title challenger Vince Paras weighed in at 116 lbs, while his opponent, tough veteran Anthony Gilbuela, came in at 115 lbs for their scheduled 8-round bout. Dave Apolinario returns to the ring, weighing 114 lbs, while his opponent Jeny Boy Boca weighed in at 115 lbs.
