Trump encourages Canadian ice hockey player to run for "Governor of Canada"
WASHINGTON, Dec. 26 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President-elect Donald Trump said in a Christmas day social media post that Wayne Gretzky, an ice hockey legend from Canada, should run for prime minister of his country, which Trump again suggested should be a U.S. state.
Trump said Gretzky "would win easily" if he wanted to become the prime minister of Canada, "soon to be known as the Governor of Canada."
