UFC fans were less than impressed after seeing Conor McGregor’s latest training video.

While most have been resting this festive period, the MMA superstar has been getting some hard training in.

McGregor this week shared a video of himself hitting the heavy bag with two-punch combinations on his Instagram story.

But scores of the Irishman‘s followers weren’t impressed by what they saw.

One wrote on X: “Hard to watch.”

Another said: “Where is his fluidity, man? He looks like a bodybuilder hitting the bag for the first time.”

And another said: “Couldn’t tell this was him until I noticed the gloves, wow.”

One remarked: “Before clicking on the video and seeing Conor’s IG handle, I had no idea who this was.

“I just thought they looked sluggish. That’s crazy, a complete shell of his former self.”

Another chimed in: “Shades of Ronda Rousey. I don’t see Conor wining another fight.”

Some UFC fans however, defended the Dubliner’s technique, with one saying: “He’s just hitting the bag.”

Another said: “[Jon] Jones looked out of shape against [Ciryl] Gane and yet he finished him.

“Don’t get deceived by looks.”

And another said: “He looks fine, he’s on the road back to the title.”

McGregor’s sharing of training clips comes amid exploratory talks of an exhibition bout with YouTube sensation Logan Paul.

Earlier this month, he wrote on X: “The rumors of a bout with topurio [Ilia Topuria] are false.

“I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India.

“I have agreed. I will then seek my return to the Octagon.”

McGregor, 36, hasn’t fought since breaking his left leg in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier in July 2018.

His next outing, where it may take place, will be his first since being found civilly liable for assaulting Nikita Hand at a Dublin Hotel in December 2018.

The UFC‘s first simultaneous two-division champion who was accused of “raping and battering” Ms Hand – has vowed to appeal the verdict of last month’s civil trial at Dublin‘s High Court.
