Andrea Lee vs. JJ Aldrich targeted for March 1 UFC event
A women’s flyweight bout is in the works for the UFC’s March slate
Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that the UFC is targeting a bout between Andrea Lee and JJ Aldrich for March 1 at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.
Lee hopes to avoid a sixth consecutive loss as she makes her first appearance in 2025. “KGB” competed twice in 2024, losing a pair of decisions to Miranda Maverick and Montana De La Rosa. Prior to that, Lee dropped unanimous decisions to Natalia Silva and Viviane Araujo, along with a razor-close split to Maycee Barber. The 35-year-old seeks her first win since stopping Cynthia Calvillo at UFC Vegas 42 in November 2021.
Aldrich is set to make her 16th octagon appearance and looks to get back in the win column after having a two-fight win streak snapped by Veronica Hardy at UFC St. Louis this past May.
The UFC’s March 1 event is headlined by a flyweight bout between Brandon Royval and Manel Kape.
