LE GALLI BIER (2.02 Fontwell, nap)
He has had just one run since coming across the Channel to join the Moores. He was very rusty around here last month but that should have blown the cobwebs away and he had some decent form in France. He gets a whopping 10lb from his rivals for being a four-year-old and this step up in distance looks another wise move. He should leave that debut form behind in what looks a fairly modest contest with Freddie Mitchell taking off 5lb.
JACK HYDE (3.30 Southwell, nb)
He won a Newcastle bumper before a couple of promising efforts over hurdles at Kempton and Huntingdon. He took a big step forward here last time when picking up strongly on the flat to win going away from his rivals. That bodes really well for him seeing out this extra mile and his rider takes off a handy 5lb.
POLITICAL POWER (5.30 Wolverhampton, treble)
Is running well without getting his head in front. His last spin here saw him finish a close-up second before another decent effort at Kempton last time. He drops down from handicap level here and his best form would take him very close over a trip that suits.
DIPLOMATIC ASH (2.37 Fontwell, Lucky 15)
Held on for a cosy win over 2m3f here last time. It was stretching his stamina a touch so dropping back a couple of furlongs here looks a wise move. A 3lb rise in the weights is fair and he is capable of going in again.
