Fenerbahce negotiations begin as Milan and Nkunku hold firm stance
Negotiations between Milan and Fenerbahce for Christopher Nkunku have begun, but while the Rossoneri are only open to discussing a permanent transfer, the French forward seems unwilling to leave San Siro in January.
Fenerbahçe have opened formal talks to sign Milan striker Nkunku in the January transfer window, according to multiple sources, including Gazzetta and Turkish transfer expert Yağız Sabuncuoğlu.
Fenerbahce open Nkunku talks with Milan
According to Calciomercato.com, the Turkish club are open to matching Milan’s €35m asking price, but don’t want to include Milan Skriniar in the deal.
The Rossoneri have sounded out the ex-Inter centre-back, but Fenerbahce don’t want to sell their defensive leader. Milan, on the other hand, will only discuss a permanent transfer for Nkunku.

Fenerbahce would need to convince Nkunku as well, given that several sources, including Ben Jacobs and Gianluca Di Marzio, say that the ex-Chelsea forward wants to stay at Milan next month, having joined the Serie A giants only a few months ago.
