Clipboard: MPC Hall of Fame Wall to be unveiled

The Monterey Peninsula College Hall of Fame committee will unveil the Pappas-Phillips plaque on its Wall of Fame on Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Pappas-Phillips Community Stadium. Plaques of all Lobo Hall of Famers will eventually be placed on the wall, which is next to the entrance of the stadium. The football, soccer and track and field programs all use the stadium. Pappas spent seven decades coaching at MPC, and was a part of 15 conference championship football teams. He also established women’s athletics at MPC prior to Title IX.
