ORCHARD PARK - New Buffalo Bills’ defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard is back in the organization for the third time, a fact that he quipped about Thursday when he said at the start of his introductory media session, “Third time’s a charm.” What’s different in 2026 is that he’s joining a franchise that is in a vastly better place than it was in 2005 when he made the Bills’ roster as an undrafted free agent safety, and in 2013 when he returned for a year as a veteran free agent.
