The four-year plan: Ninth-ranked Troy United climbs to reach league crown

The Troy United hockey program has grown immensely since its seniors stepped foot into high school. From one of the worst teams in the state during the 2022-23 season, United is now ranked No. 9 in Division 1 and recently locked up a perfect OAA White season. “I think right now we are improving so much more, and it makes it so much more fun to play. I love seeing the guys happy, and it’s just more motivation for me,” said United senior Ben Dumas, the team’s leading scorer at 29 goals. The journey has been important.
