Official: McKennie agrees new Juventus contract to 2030
Following more decisive goals and playing in various different positions, Weston McKennie has signed a new contract with Juventus to June 2030, practically doubling his salary.
Multiple sources are confident his salary will be boosted from the current €2.5m per season net to €4m plus performance-related bonuses.
His previous contract was set to expire on June 30, but McKennie never considered any other options, eager to pen a new deal to 2030.
McKennie built a career at Juventus
The USMNT star came to Turin from Schalke 04 in 2020 and seemed to be on the verge of an exit numerous times during his Bianconeri career.
That included an unsuccessful loan spell at Leeds United, but he always managed to convince the club and coach to give him another chance.
His versatility has been the key to that, as this season alone McKennie has played as a midfielder, a left-back, a support striker, and a False 9.
He scored eight goals and seven assists this term under Igor Tudor and then Luciano Spalletti, one of the most consistent Juventus players in a difficult campaign.
